A/V Ministry
Are you interested in working with lights, camera, and sound? The Sunday morning A/V team may be the right place for you then. Please contact the church office to learn more about volunteer opportunities.
Liturgist
Every month a different congregant joins Pastor Julia in leading worship. The responsibilities include offering the Welcome and Announcements, leading the Call to Worship, and reading one of the scripture lessons. Sign up is available in the office or reach out to Pastor Julia.
Music Ministry
Do you have a love for singing? A talent with the oboe that you're dying to share? Has it been too long since you sang in a choir? If you are interested in taking part in the music ministry please contact the church office to learn more.
Noodle Ministry:
Main Street is known for their Homemade Egg Noodles. These noodles are made in the church kitchen by several dedicated men and women and they are sold throughout the year with profits going to local missions and humanitarian help for Howard County. Noodles are sold in 1 pound packages for $5.00/pound. You can call to reserve a bag durign church office hours, Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 3 pm.
Food Pantry Ministry:
Our Food Pantry is open on Tuesdays from 9 am to 11:30 am. Community members are welcome to come once a month to freely receive, only a form of I.D. is required. You can serve in this ministry through donating food items, donating money to purchase items, or by helping to prepare bags.
God's Neighborhood Closet:
God's Neighborhood Closet is open on Tuesday mornings from 9-11:30 am. This ministry uses clothing items of all sizes that are donated throughout the year and make them available to the community at reduced cost. God's Neighborhood Closet also includes Toiletry Bags that cost $1.00/bag and include toilet paper, tissues, paper towel, bath soap, dish soap, laundry soap, and shampoo. The Toiletry Bags are an encouraged part of this ministry as they are items that cannot be bought with food stamps.
You can help serve with this ministry by donating clothes, shoes, toys, and toiletry items or by being part of the team responsible for organizing and running the Closet. Contact the Church Office for more ways to serve.
